Olympic Park

I am feeling very olympic today! This week, G and I raced to Olypmpic Park before it’s totally demolished. We checked the place out and there were quite a few high vis people inside. On excavators, in and out of trucks. So we hesitated for a while, then eventually jumped the fence and took the plunge. Should be fine if we stay inside. Probably wasn’t the safest, but glad we got in to check it out.

Still a bit to see. The stadium seating is gone on one side, and partly demolished on the other, but the upper level seating remained, containing plenty of changerooms/showers and a cafe in the building below. We were gutted, as it was the main reason we’d come, but there were just too many workers around to climb the light towers… But I made it onto the roof. The view wasnt as good as I hoped anyway…
