The Maze
This time of the year is so hectic! I really do try everything I can to stay clear of the Christmas chaos, but even still it tries to consume us via our surroundings. Everyones busy, on a mission, booked out, racing around trying to get it all done before Christmas.
A great time to get underground. Yesterdays weather forecast said 1% chance of rainfall. Even better time to get underground.
We had a few hours to explore, so headed east to ‘The Maze’ a drain I’d been referred to by a Cave Clan pioneer for it’s many features, junctions, waterfalls etc.
Super easy access and a split junction entrance. Looked promising. Spent about an hour or two down there, checking out each tunnel, finding waterfalls etc. A much more interesting drain than the last few we have explored. Some great graff down there, massive smiles to finally see Kaffeine’s drain fox and a few aerosol and paste pieces by Precious Little, among others… (see pics)
Hoping to get back there when I can spend more time inside, maybe do a big piece in there. Best place to be this summer- beneath the city, in a drain.
