Pasting Sister Bella

Sister Bella was one of the first bars I visited when I arrived in Melbourne. So I was stoked to add some love to their walls this week while being filmed for another documentary on Street art- Turn the lights on…

While Braddock worked on a colourful freehand piece at the entrance, I pasted ‘Dailies’ Comics on the wall of the stairwell. They made for a very interesting background… plenty to look at from a wide selection of Artists.

I also quickly painted a heartbroken Chicano bride the night before and wanted to slap her up. I did so, out front so it could be viewed by both those who enter the bar and those who don’t.

But I’ve been asked to create more for inside, so stay tuned…
